Dopped by to inquire about delivery bags they sell and decided to also have a quick meal. We ordered a personal veggie pizza and a Greek salad. The server Denzel who took my order was very nice and double checked to make sure he was giving the correct answers to my questions. Once the food got to the table it looked delicious. But after a bite or two I noticed my lettuce was brown and you could tell the vegetables were not fresh. I tried to eat around it but it was a bit much so I didn't finish my meal. They did ask how it was and apologized. I would have to say to check your veggies before eating.

From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, everything was superb. The atmosphere is nice and inviting, the staff was super attentive and nice. Now the moment you’ve been waiting for… THE FOOD! We got the 20inch 1/2&1/2 and it was superb. The ingredients were fresh, loaded to the max and the cook on it was heavenly. If you’re a pizza lover this spot is a MUST!

Shoutout to ALYSSIA!!! Amazing service and crushed my order down to the Tee! I usually go to the 151 location and its terrible, the smell and the way they make the pizza, its really night and day difference. This vegan veggie pizza should most defiantly be the standard of how to make and present it to the customer! Im sooo grateful for her and her intentions on making my food. You will be seeing me more at this location. #VEGAN IS HARD TO FIND HERE! #THANKS AGAIN <3

Service was quick and easy, with friendly service! The staff were helpful with all my questions and gave great answers. The food is definitely worth every penny, but without breaking the bank. The Pizza is great with a taste that makes you come back for more. Nice crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and amazing sauce. A come back spot for sure!

Best Birthday Dinner — Javier & the Team Made It Unforgettable! We’re visiting the San Antonio area and decided to try Mattenga’s Pizzeria Alamo Ranch for dinner — and it completely blew us away. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was genuinely warm. When our server Javier found out it was our first visit and my birthday, he went above and beyond in the best possible way. The restaurant gifted me a tiramisu, brought it out with a candle, and the whole team came over and sang happy birthday. I was completely surprised and so touched — that level of care for a guest is something you just don’t see everywhere. And the food did not disappoint! Javier truly made this experience one we won’t forget. If you’re in the Alamo Ranch area and want incredible pizza AND a staff that genuinely makes you feel special, don’t sleep on Mattenga’s. We will 100% be back before we leave town. Highly, highly recommend! 🎂🍕
